Vision, Mission and Goals

Vision:

Leadership in computing (network, security, and cloud computing) education, research and effective contribution to community development.

Mission:

To provide quality education through a well-designed computer networking curriculum that equips students with the requisite computer networking knowledge, skills and interpersonal competences.

Goals:

The graduates of Computer Networks program are expected to:
  • Be a leader in the job market for computer networks.
  • Be strong technical contributors in practicing computer network profession in industry, proficiently applying computer network and security theoretical knowledge across different application.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and grow throughout their career and further contribute to the advancement of the computer network.
  • Able to function effectively in the computer networking field by applying relevant technical ‎knowledge and skills to analyze the real-world problems to develop appropriate ‎solutions.
