About the Lab

The Emerging Technologies Research Lab (ETRL) is the flagship research center within the College of Computer Science and Information Systems at Najran University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2024, ETRL is dedicated to advancing the frontiers of science, innovation, and technology through high-impact research, collaborative development, and real-world application of next-generation technologies.
ETRL operates as a research junction in emerging technologies, innovation-driven lab, focused on solving national and global challenges by harnessing the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Quantum Computing, Cybersecurity, Software Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), and Spatial Computing.
